After a financial bomb exploded in my life I sold all my electronic equipment. I sold an engagement ring I had held on to for years at a pawn shop, I bought a cheap black colored Les Paul copy and a tube distortion pedal. Somewhere I bought a violin bow. One fine spring day I used it to hammer out this godawful thing in two passes, one with John French operating a flanger. This was recorded at a studio over by the old Austin airport. We always had to wait until the planes had taken off before we could resume recording. Thus began the electric guitar years...
